Role Description As part of the Audit team, you will be providing a wide range of audit and accounting services to clients. This is a varied role that will include overseeing and undertaking audits and accounts work, both in the office and at client premises. Clients are varied and you will have the opportunity to develop client relationships and deliver on wide ranging projects, working with the wider team. The firm is expanding and has structured growth and development plans in place and so offers an exciting opportunity. Reporting to the Audit Manager and Director, your main duties include: Leading audits from planning to completion with minimal supervision, to deadlines and on budget; ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements at all times Overseeing all aspects of the audit fieldwork and completion and leading on-site audit teams Coaching and mentoring junior team members Presenting results to managers and agree commercially viable audit recommendations Supervising and reviewing the work of more junior audit staff Attending post audit client meetings Lead finalisation of audit including preparation of accounts and tax computation Build strong relationships with clients Prepare accounts for supervisor/manager’s review and approval Prepare company tax computations Raise relevant and coherent queries to assist with supervisor/manager review You will be Qualified by experience, ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified, with a background in a mixed or pure audit role. Passionate about offering a high-quality service to clients Friendly, and able to communicate clearly to both your colleagues and clients. Knowledge of Iris Software and MyWorkpapers preferable, but not essential Have commercial awareness and great time management Benefits include: Full study support AAT/ACCA/ACCA/CTA and more Course fees funded Study leave plus your exam day given as additional paid leave.
