We are offering an exciting opportunity for a talented team leader to join our Subrogated Recovery Department in a pre-litigated team. Over the past two years, this department has expanded from one to four teams, with further growth anticipated. Do you have experience managing a team in a high-volume, process-driven environment? The Team Leader will focus on delivering results aligned with KPIs and service standards, while fostering a positive and friendly work environment and motivating the team to excel. This is a key role with the opportunity to influence the department's future direction and growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop operational processes with the BUD and others to:
* Reduce touch time to improve efficiency and profitability
* Maximize recoveries
* Report on team performance to senior management regularly
* Ensure litigated files comply with SRA obligations
Manage team performance according to SLA’s and KPIs, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and preventing process creep. Maintain quality standards through audits, coaching, and feedback. Ensure team members are competent via training and support. Manage personnel fairly and consistently, including capability and attendance management. Foster motivation and personal development, promoting teamwork.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Civil litigation experience, from Claimant or Defendant perspective, including Fast Track level
* Experience managing a team, preferably in a legal or insurance environment
* Ability to nurture and motivate team members

Desirable skills include knowledge of subrogated recoveries, handling personal injury claims, and multi-track claims. Soft skills involve positive attitude, adaptable communication, planning, organizational skills, adaptability, and understanding of service contribution to division success.
