We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Nurse to join our Health and Social Care Section at the College. This role involves teaching across the Level 3 T Level Technical Qualification in Health and BTEC Health and Social Care Levels 1, 2, and 3. The ideal candidate will prepare learners, primarily aged 16-19, for careers in the health/social care sector.
Day-to-day of the role: Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions across various levels of Health and Social Care courses.
Utilise current industry knowledge and clinical experience to enhance the learning experience of students.
Prepare course materials, assessments, and projects that reflect real-world scenarios.
Monitor and evaluate the progress and achievements of students.
Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure content is up-to-date with the latest industry standards.
Provide academic and pastoral support to students.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Degree in Nursing.
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) with current or recent clinical experience in the health/social care sector.
Experience in teaching or training, with a willingness to obtain a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (support provided if not already obtained).
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
