Lorien is working with a leading SaaS organisation within their sector, seeking a Business Development Executive. This role is pivotal in supporting the Sales team, expanding product knowledge, and building sales opportunities for continued growth.
About the Role
In this position, you will conduct research to generate sales leads, engage with prospective customers to understand their needs, and deliver product demonstrations. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will also assist in winning new clients through bid responses.
Responsibilities
* Conduct research to identify sales leads
* Engage with prospective customers to assess their needs
* Deliver demonstrations of the SaaS product to potential clients
* Assist in preparing bid responses to secure new business
* Utilize problem-solving skills and product knowledge to advise customers on optimal solutions
* Build and maintain strong relationships, collaborating effectively with team members
* Communicate sales strategies clearly to internal and external stakeholders
* Focus on client requirements, gaining industry insights and awareness
* Present confidently and authoritatively to stakeholders
* Remain persistent and resilient in pursuing sales opportunities despite setbacks
Required Skills
* Experience in Sales or Business Development roles
* Experience in SaaS or product-focused sales
* Experience delivering client demonstrations
The salary is up to £35,000, with additional benefits and bonus structure. The role is based on a hybrid model, requiring 1-2 days per week at their office in Shipley.
