Trainee Phlebotomist – Full Training Provided! – ELD2

Field Based – Various locations in London. £27,783 per year plus Commission, Overtime, Expenses and Benefits. You will be known internally as a Health Assessment Specialist and will join a team delivering high-quality health assessments across your region.

Responsibilities, hours and day-to-day

* You will be required to work 4 x 10-hour shifts per week, totaling 40 hours per week. Shifts can fall any time between 6am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday, and hours will be allocated 3 weeks in advance on a rolling basis.
* You will be required to drive up to 2 hours to reach your venue, with possible use of public transport depending on venue type.
* Work across multiple clinic venues within your region, maintaining high quality standards.
* Plan routes, unpack and set up your kit, greet customers, and manage your day with 15 to 22 customers, with appointment times between 10 and 45 minutes depending on package.
* Perform various health assessments based on customer packages (e.g., PAD, ECG, Phlebotomy (once qualified), Lung Function, Body Composition, and short fitness tests), and advise on appropriate further testing where suitable. Maintain accurate administration records.
* Not required to relay results or lifestyle advice to customers after assessments.


Requirements

What we’d like to see from you

* A Full UK License and access to your own car (kit transport to venues; ability to store kit items at home).
* Ability to work any days between Monday to Sunday and any times between 6am and 10pm on a rota basis (shifts often 6am–4pm, 8am–6pm, or 1pm–10pm).
* Proficiency with computers/laptops/phones/tablets to a satisfactory degree.
* Clear DBS check (we will process this on your behalf).
* Ability to travel up to 2 hours from home location and occasional overnight stays as required.
* Live within the correct distance of the regional location of the role.
* Willingness to attend our Milton Keynes head office for the first 2 weeks of training (Monday–Friday, both weeks).
* A real willingness to learn and take on new skills.
* On onboarding, a satisfactory enhanced criminal records check is required (covered by us).
* All roles require a satisfactory criminal record check as part of onboarding.
