Opportunities with the Community Nursing Team in Peterborough
The community nursing team across Peterborough are currently offering opportunities for both full-time and part-time hours working within CPFT. We provide a service 7 days a week, working closely with other community services and PCNs to deliver high-standard holistic care to the population of Peterborough.
You will have the opportunity to develop yourself through extensive learning and development opportunities.
Please note, for this role, you will be required to travel independently around the county, meeting strict time deadlines. You must hold a full UK driving licence and have use of a vehicle. Public transport is not suitable for this role due to reliability issues and the need to meet service demands. Please confirm in your application that you meet these criteria.
Role Responsibilities
* Work as an autonomous practitioner within the multi-disciplinary community nursing team.
* Provide high standards of nursing care and interventions within the patient's own home, with support from the wider team.
* Ensure patient and carer participation in decision-making, with the patient at the center of care.
* Assess, interpret, plan, implement, and evaluate treatments within professional guidelines.
* Identify patient needs through holistic nursing assessments.
* Support and educate peers, new staff, and students.
