Senior FPGA Engineer Role
* Looking for an ambitious, proactive self-starter who identifies problems and takes ownership
* Xilinx RFSoC and/or Software Defined Radio experience required
* 5+ yrs experience
* Strong focus on VHDL development on AMD Xilinx platforms (Vivado)
* DSP expertise required
* Experience coding for on chip ARM cores
* Experience using external DDR
* Appreciation of wider system architecture, peripheral hardware and software
* Experience with multi-clock systems and GPS synchronisation
* Clear leadership potential, with scope to lead the FPGA team based on performance

Team & Structure
* Current team consists of two FPGA engineers
* One long-term contractor is nearing retirement - succession-planning and upgrade to capable team leader
* Role is onsite, five days per week
* Salary negotiable
