What This Role Involves
Working on a variety of projects at once – from a University in Scotland to a high‑rise residential tower in London – enabling innovative architectural design without compromising on fire safety.
Running through design information, liaising with other WSP disciplines such as Facades, Acoustics and Structures.
Presenting designs to local authorities and the Fire Service, and advising the design team on safety‑enhancing changes.
Guided through software packages, fire standards, team briefings and client updates, while contributing to team social events.
Assisting the successful candidate toward professional registration via IFE and other professional organisations.

Qualifications
BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
Extensive experience within the fire engineering consulting industry.
Can be based from any of our UK major offices.
Commitment to achieving chartered status or equivalent professional qualifications.
