As a SEN Tutor, you will:
 1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging sessions that meet the needs of students.
 2. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
 3. Record student progress and report on this weekly.
 4. Be understanding, empathetic and patient.
 5. Record attendance.
 6. Be organised, dependable and creative.
 7. Be calm, fair and adaptable.
About you:
 8. Experience working with young people in UK schools
 9. Background in SEN education or alternative provision- desirable but not essential
 10. Confident delivering Maths and English
 11. Empathetic, reliable, and calm under pressure
 12. Able to build trusting relationships and foster a love of learning
 13. Experience of working with young people with SEMH needs
Position – Tutor

Full time/part-time – Opportunities for both
Hours – 15 Hours per week- for the right candidate, this can be increased to full time.
Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
 14. Minimum of 1 year of experience working within UK schools- ESSENTIAL
 15. Experience of working with learners with SEN/SEMH needs
To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
 16. Hold right to work in the UK
 17. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
 18. Provide references upon request
 19. Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
