Job Title: Claims Handler – Damage and Maintenance Location: Edinburgh Salary: £25,500 Hours: Temporary (until July 2026), Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00 We are currently recruiting for a Damage & Maintenance claims handler to join our growing team in Livingston. As a Damage & Maintenance claims handler, you will be working in a fast past environment where customer requirements are constantly changing. As a claims handler you will support the D&M team identifying items that require chargeback and support recovering these costs from customers or insurers in an area key to ACL’s success Key Responsibilities Of a Claims Handler Identify Claims for chargeback by pulling relevant reports from our rental platform Build Damage pack for customers, including required evidence and costs Raise invoice proposals Notify customers immediately where costs are likely to be charged back, liaise with them and if required, their insurers to answer queries and challenge delays aiding prompt payment Work with ACL Engineering team to support timely repairs Any other relevant tasks supporting the wider business What Are We Looking For Computer Literate Excellent Communicator Team Player Friendly, positive ‘Can-Do’ attitude Looking to take an active role in the development and growth of our business Great Rewards for great work Great customer experiences begin with team members who feel valued and respected.
