Management Accountant
Chesterfield | Office-based
We’re looking for a Management Accountant to take ownership of finance within a fast-paced, international manufacturing environment. This role sits at the heart of the business, turning data into insight, challenging assumptions, and supporting operational decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and produce monthly management accounts
* Lead cost accounting (standard costing, labour rates, supplier pricing, BOM support)
* Analyse and report on material, labour, overhead and PPV variances
* Manage inventory, stock valuation, and E&O
* Deliver sales, pricing and margin analysis
* Own forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling
* Manage intercompany reporting and transfer pricing
* Oversee fixed assets and investment analysis
* Support audit, tax and statutory reporting
* Work closely with operations, production, procurement and commercial teams
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in a Management Accountant role
* Strong background in manufacturing / cost accounting
* Comfortable across both transactional and commercial finance
* Ability to turn data into insight and challenge operational decisions
* ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or part-qualified (or QBE)
* Power BI / D365 experience beneficial
