Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor with experience in fit-out and refurbishment projects to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success and smooth execution of our projects by effectively managing costs, contracts, and procurement processes. Responsibilities: - Conducting cost estimates, preparing tender documents, and managing procurement activities. - Reviewing and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. - Monitoring project costs and budgets throughout the lifecycle of each project. - Conducting regular site visits and assessments to evaluate progress and identify potential cost variations. - Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions. - Providing accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders. - Managing claims and variations, resolving disputes, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on fit-out and refurbishment projects. - Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost management principles. - Proficiency in industry-standard software such as CostX, Bluebeam, or similar tools. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. - Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS) is preferred but not required.
