An exciting opportunity has arisen within our friendly and welcoming school for a Child & Family Welfare Officer to join our team. This is a challenging, but highly rewarding role, focussing on keeping children safe as a Designated Safeguarding Lead, as well as supporting families/children’s wellbeing and attendance.
We are looking for:
* An experienced practitioner with knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures and protocols;
* A practitioner who is able be make sound well-informed decisions to promote better attendance and emotional wellbeing outcomes;
* Excellent organisational and communication skills are required as you will be dealing with sensitive and confidential matters when dealing with children, staff and parents;
* Good team skills are essential as you will be a member of the office and administration staff.
