Job Title: Ofsted Deputy Manager

Salary: £33,000 – £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (plus on-call duties as required)

The Role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our leadership team. Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the home, supporting staff, ensuring compliance, and upholding the highest standards of care and safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Registered Manager in leading and supervising the team
* Ensure all care plans are implemented, monitored, and reviewed
* Maintain compliance with Ofsted and regulatory standards
* Support with rota planning, budgeting, and home administration
* Act as a positive role model for staff and young people
* Be part of the on-call rota and provide shift cover when needed
* Build and maintain strong, supportive relationships with young people, families, and professionals
* Promote independence, resilience, and positive outcomes for each child
What We're Looking For
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Essential
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards)
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a children's residential setting
* Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role
* Sound knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and Ofsted standards
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
* Full UK Driving Licence – Essential
