We are looking for an Auto-mail Operator to join the busy print production team based at Paragon's Wymondham site.
In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating auto-mail enclosing machines to process daily workloads accurately and efficiently. You will play a key part in ensuring all client jobs are dispatched on time and in full, consistently meeting service level agreements (SLAs) while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safety.
Shift Pattern - Days and Evenings rotation:
Week 1: 07:00-15:00 / Week 2: 15:00-23:00
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate auto-mail enclosing machines according to work orders and client-specific instructions.
* Maintain daily production output in line with SLAs and internal performance targets.
* Manage all aspects of the enclosing process, including stock replenishment, job scheduling, and machine throughput to maximise efficiency.
* Carry out quality checks and follow company processes for cleaning, maintenance, enclosing, and dispatch.
* Identify and report any machine faults, stock issues, or print quality concerns promptly to management.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely job completion.
* Adhere to all health & safety policies and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Skills and Experience Required
* Previous experience operating enclosing, mailing, or print finishing machinery (preferred, but training can be provided).
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
* Ability to follow instructions and work to strict deadlines in a high-volume environment.
* Good organisational and time-management skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate issues when necessary.
* Ability to use basic computer functions
* Team player with a proactive and flexible approach.
