You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.What you'll do:Assist chefs in kitchen with food preparation & patient mealsAssist with washing up & general cleaning dutiesEnsure hygienic cleaning of all crockery, cutlery, trays, and equipment used to maintain infection control standardsServe daily in the staff canteen – recording daily temperature checks & cleaning schedulesMaintain stock control, rotation, and records at all times, assisting with deliveriesComplete all legal, company, and client documentation within required timeframesReport all equipment malfunctions to the Catering ManagerCommunicate calmly, politely, and tactfully with customers at all timesRecognise issues that may affect customer satisfaction and take appropriate action to resolve or escalate as necessaryFollow all applicable policies and procedures, including Infection Prevention and ControlCarry out duties safely, with minimal disruption to othersMake full and proper use of any protective or safety equipment providedWhat you bring:A passion for delivering tasty, nutritious food with careA friendly, professional attitude and respect for patients, visitors, and colleaguesBasic food handling knowledge and hygiene awarenessWillingness to learn new skills (e.g. food safety, health & hygiene)The ability to stay on your feet and work efficiently during busy service periodsLevel 2 food hygiene certificateWhat we offer:Working at Sodexo isn't just a job — it's a chance to make a difference every day.
