We are looking for Specialist Support Workers to join a newly established dedicated team to work with Alfie, a young man who is leaving residential care to live in his own home in Dumfries.
This is a unique opportunity to work for an organisation who is a leading provider of personalised care and support.
You will need to be someone who is active, resilient, can hold boundaries but is also compassionate. There are both day shifts and waking nights.
As a Specialist Support Worker, you will be part of a bespoke team supporting Alfie on new adventures, whether this be navigating daily life in his new home or trekking exciting new landscapes.
The start of a journey may seem the hardest but once you take the first step, you've overcome the first hurdle. Alfie is soon to start his journey to independance, could you be by his side supporting him to overcome any obstacles and experience new opportunities?
Contract: Part-Time 16h
This is a challenging time for Alfie as he navigates a newfound independence, getting used to his new home and making everyday decisions about his life in general. You must be able to adopt a compassionate and nurturing approach and be someone who genuinely wants to support him on this journey. His success will be your success.
