We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior/Principal/Associate Geotechnical Engineer based in our Glasgow, Edinburgh, Belfast, Manchester or Leeds offices to support our rapidly expanding workload and our exciting portfolio of prestigious geotechnical projects both in the UK and internationally.
We need to increase our team to meet the growing demands from our clients, especially in the infrastructure sector (rail, highways & water) and the energy sector, including carbon capture & storage, renewable energy, offshore and onshore oil & gas, and nuclear power.

Requirements:
* The successful candidate will be a senior/principal geotechnical engineer with proven technical and project management experience. Mentoring junior engineers and good communication skills are essential.
* Degree in civil engineering or geology with postgraduate qualification in geotechnical engineering, and chartered status as a civil engineer or geologist.
* Ability to help develop and expand our infrastructure geotechnics capability across sectors.
Candidates should have:
* Extensive experience in sectors like highways, rail, or water geotechnics.
* Strong academic background, ideally MSc or equivalent.
* Chartered status.
* Experience as a senior/principal geotechnical engineer in a fast-paced environment.
* Project management skills, client relationships, work planning, and commercial awareness.
* Application of CDM Regulations in design and ground investigations.
* Leadership and communication skills to develop geotechnical teams and liaise with clients.
* Proven track record in negotiating and managing projects successfully.
* Excellent report writing and self-checking skills.
* Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas.
* Valid UK driving license.
