Job Summary and key responsibilities:
Reporting to the Rent Arrears Manager, we are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join our fast growing Credit Control department based in Worthing. As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for timely collection of rent on behalf of our clients & fees across your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively contact landlords regarding arrears at scheduled intervals via telephone and email.
* Respond to incoming calls and resolve queries efficiently, ensuring all issues are managed within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
* Liaise with landlords regarding tenancies that are due to receive Section 8 notices as required.
* Manage and resolve tickets raised through the ticketing system within agreed SLAs.
* Maintain and monitor credit control email inboxes to ensure timely responses and follow-up.

* Attention to detail: accuracy in data entry and documentation.

* Good level of IT related knowledge and associated Microsoft office packages
* Property related experience but not essential
