The Role

As a Senior Account Executive, you will proactively engage, pitch, and sell to PR and communications professionals within the UK mid‑market segment. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to drive revenue growth and expand client relationships.


What are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced 360° sales professional to join our Mid‑Market team at Cision. You will bring a minimum of 3 years’ B2B sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets. In this role, you will be responsible for pitching Cision’s full suite of solutions to brand‑new prospects within the PR and Communications space.

We are looking for a driven and passionate sales professional, motivated by new business development and eager to join an established, high‑performing sales team selling a market‑leading solution.


Duties and Responsibilities

The role includes, but is not limited to, the following:

* Position the value of Cision’s solutions through inbound and outbound sales methods to mid‑market organisations
* Educate and guide prospects through the buyer’s journey, helping them understand the value Cision can bring to their organisation
* Proactively self‑source leads via cold calling, outreach, and LinkedIn
* Manage a pipeline of inbound and self‑sourced leads to identify, engage, and develop relationships with potential buyers
* Meet daily activity KPIs based on outbound sales activity
* Conduct effective online demonstrations of our services through virtual meetings, and occasionally face‑to‑face meetings
* Build and maintain a healthy pipeline (5x your monthly target)
* Maintain strong communication with the Mid‑Market Customer Service Executives to ensure the smooth setup of new business orders
* Input and maintain accurate activity and opportunity information in Salesforce and Kluster
* Report on activity and results on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis


Essential Skills and Experience

* 3+ years’ experience selling SaaS solutions
* Experience selling in a B2B environment
* Excellent telephone manner
* Strong relationship‑building skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to deliver effective online product presentations and demonstrations
* Proven track record of outbound sales activity
* Strong consultative selling and closing skills
