Overview
Fire Risk Assessor role with a leading national fire safety service provider. This is a permanent staff position offering a competitive package and fully expensed vehicle.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments in line with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
* Identify fire hazards and assess risks to people and property
* Review existing fire safety measures including escape routes, alarms, and firefighting equipment
* Produce clear, professional assessment reports with actionable recommendations
* Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on fire safety compliance
* Assist in the development and implementation of fire safety management plans
* Stay up to date with fire safety legislation, standards, and industry best practice
* Full UK driving licence
* Based in the Midlands region with flexibility to travel across the UK
* Strong knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality reports
* Membership of a professional body (e.g., IFE, IFSM)
* Knowledge of passive and active fire protection systems
Qualifications
* Level 4 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment or equivalent recognised qualification
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience conducting Type 1 & 3 fire risk assessments
