Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated individual to join the Access Booking & Choice Department at Bolton Hospital. The role requires multitasking in a busy administrative setting, excellent communication skills, good IT skills, and attention to detail. The department handles a high volume of work, so meeting deadlines and working effectively as part of a team are essential.

Main Duties
1. Booking hospital transport for patients
2. Processing clinical correspondence and appointment letters
3. Managing delivery rounds for referral letters
4. Ordering stationery
5. Printing from Electronic Referral System within 3 days
6. Distributing post and faxes
7. Managing team email accounts for follow-up appointments
8. Handling NHS.NET account for referrals and waiting lists
9. Booking follow-up appointments for ward discharges
10. Managing Choose and Book referrals
11. Filing referrals and preparing records
12. Inputting referrals and managing waiting lists
13. Contacting patients for manual referrals
14. Adding cardio cards to the system

Person Specification
Education/Qualifications
* Minimum of 4 GCSEs including English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above
* Administration/Customer Service Qualification
Experience & Knowledge
* Experience in administration
* Customer service skills
* Knowledge of Data Protection guidelines
* Experience with medical records
* Previous NHS or hospital experience
