Provide support to the Real Estate and Facilities Management teams with the provision of business development, marketing and communications activity in order to support new business generation, promotion of service lines and team capability, growth and density sales of existing business, and contract retention. Job Description • Carrying out marketing research on clients, sectors, industries and competitors • Identification of target opportunities / prospect customers, tracking customer lifecycles (Internal and external) • Assist with planning and drafting of customer proposals and bids • Supporting the design and production of bid / pitch material • Supporting internal referral initiatives • Updating directories, membership lists and profiles • Identifying event, networking and panel opportunities for subject matter experts across the Business Group • Support the identification and submission of award entries • Bid identification through internal and external sources (Reviewing of portals, cross business group opportunities) • Managing bid submission portal uploads and correspondence • CRM (Salesforce) support and interrogation • Tracking of opportunities (wins, losses, feedback, forming a CI loop etc) • Maintaining and developing a bid library to include case studies, CVs, Capability Statements, Brochures, Website and online information held e.g. membership associations • Production and design of marketing collateral for prospecting using AY templates • Identifying and collation of information for press releases and social media posts • Supporting promotion of Property and Facilities Management on external channels • External communications, set up of platforms and meeting planning The desired candidate will have a background in business development and marketing within a professional business to business services environment, as well as possess; • Excellent BD research and RFP/pitch skills • Excellent IT & CRM skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, databases/CRM systems • Degree educated and/or CIM qualified or studying towards the qualification Equal Opportunities At Avison Young, we are committed to building an inclusive culture that empowers all of our employees to thrive, be successful and feel a sense of belonging.
