Job Description
A permanent Deputy Home Manager post has become available in a luxury nursing home in Sudbury that specialises in elderly care.

Responsibilities
* Assist the Manager in planning and implementing the highest quality of nursing care to the home’s frail elderly residents, some of whom may suffer from dementia.
* Manage and motivate a team of nurses and carers and help ensure the smooth running of the home.
* Maintain good communication and a passion for providing outstanding care.
* Uphold the home’s reputation as a recognised centre of excellence.
* Liaise with other healthcare professionals and members of the multi-disciplinary team.
* Administrative duties as required.
Skills / Qualifications Required
* Qualified nurse – RGN or RMN – and registered with the NMC
* Excellent communication skills
* Previous experience in a Deputy Manager role essential
* Minimum 5 years hands-on nursing experience
* Passion for elderly / dementia care
Job Requirements
* Work autonomously and independently whilst building strong relationships with management and care staff throughout the organisation
* Maintain and assess the home’s high quality care
* Organise and motivate the carers to ensure excellent standards of care are delivered
* Assist in inductions and orientations of new care staff
* Help uphold the home’s reputation as a recognised centre of excellence
* Liaise with other healthcare professionals and members of the multi-disciplinary team
