What you will do:
Deliver front‑line occupational therapy services efficiently and safely within the Learning Disabilities and Autism/Mental Health directorate.
Support triage processes and collaborate closely with health and social care to streamline services and minimise OT waiting lists.
Partner with external care providers to ensure correct and safe execution of moving and handling tasks.
Conduct reviews of care packages to guarantee the best value of services for Adult Social Care and optimal utilisation of available equipment.
Assess and review double‑handed care packages, waking night, and other care packages.
Provide mutual aid to other OT areas as needed, ensuring comprehensive support across services.
Conduct timely OT assessments and reviews across the directorate to maintain high standards of care.
Applicants must be HCPC registered, and being a car driver is beneficial for this role to facilitate travel across various locations effectively.
