Warehouse - Materials & Tool Stores Operative

Pay Rate per hour: PAYE £21.31 & Umbrella £27.86
Shifts: Monday - Friday, 7:00 - 15:00
Key Responsibilities
Use SAP and other supporting IT systems to ensure the timely and accurate receipt, picking, kitting and delivery of materials in advance of required delivery date to the defined work centre
Receiving and picking deliveries from HGV
Capture and retain critical material data to maintain traceability and conformity of materials.
Support quality notifications, quarantine of materials and the return to vendor for repair or disposal of materials in line with cross functional team direction.
Using forecasting schedules to maintain inventory levels, identify shortages, raise PO's on SAP and expedite replacement materials from outlying depots or suppliers in order to meet material requirement dates.
Conduct Cycle counts on all stock and investigate discrepancies reporting root cause and remedial actions and aligning inventory following internal JSOX controls.
Support procurement with consumable management and provide additional storage capacity for non-vendor managed items
Support site with the online ordering of approved PPE, First Aid equipment, Spill Kit equipment and anything other equipment that contributes to a safe working environment.
Be the first point of contact for the site encountering material availability issues.
Adhere to, review and update process maps in line with working procedures.
Maintain a safe environment within the stores and surrounding area ensuring mandated inspections, testing or failures are reported to the Facilities department
Maintain stores equipment in good working order conducting pre-use inspections as required and isolating equipment to prevent misuse.
Attend and present any data required for internal/external audit. Assist auditors on site preparing any information required
Support with CI activities within the stores and on site in general.Essential Requirements
Min of 2 years in a similar materials operative role within a manufacturing facility
SAP experience.
Fork Lift Licence
Competent IT Skills in Microsoft Office.
Must be able to work on your own initiative.
Ability to work without close supervision
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
