We are seeking a committed and creative DT Teacher to join a collaborative department within a school that places high value on technical and vocational learning. The role involves delivering DT to KS3 and KS4, with scope for specialisation in areas such as Product Design, Engineering, or Textiles depending on the candidate’s expertise.
The department is housed in purpose-built facilities including multiple workshops, 3D printers, CNC routers, and computer suites. You will work closely with the department head and technician team to ensure students benefit from hands-on, relevant design education that fosters creativity, innovation, and problem-solving.
Experience and Qualifications

DT Teacher with QTS and relevant degree

Experience in Product Design, Resistant Materials, or similar
*
Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 essential; KS5 an advantage
*
Knowledge of health and safety requirements in a workshop environment
*
Legal right to work in the UK
