We at JKR are excited to be supporting a forward-thinking manufacturing company, in recruiting for a brand-new Production Engineer position!
Production Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
* Provide support to management at all levels in achieving business objectives
* Comply with all Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental requirements
* Maintain a strong understanding of all activities within the assigned work areas
* Ensure all physical workspaces consistently meet or exceed company housekeeping standards
* Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by management
* Conduct detailed tool inspections to ensure tools meet specification and are suitable for production use
* Carry out hands‑on assembly and preparation of mould tools for production and development trials
* Plan and perform tool trials to validate tooling performance, process capability, and product quality
* Record, analyse, and report trial results, identifying improvements and implementing corrective actions where required
Production Engineer Additional Skills and Attributes:
* Mechanical qualifications (minimum NVQ Level 3 or BTEC)
* Hands‑on Mechanical background
* Familiarity with Quality Management processes, such as CAPA and Non‑conformances
* Self‑motivated with good time management and reliability
* Able to build professional relationships and work effectively as part of a team
* Flexible, enthusiastic, and maintains a positive attitude
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Committed to ongoing learning and personal development
* Creative thinker with strong problem‑solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement
Production Engineer Working Hours and Benefits:
* Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm
* Friday 8 am to 3 pm
* Training provided
