Role: Junior Data Analyst
Location: LE12, Mountsorrel, Leicester
Salary: Up to £30,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm
Working Pattern: Office-based initially, moving to hybrid (3 days working from home) following successful completion of probation

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join a close-knit team of three. In this role, you will support the extraction, processing, analysis, and interpretation of data to generate insights and support data-driven decision-making across the business.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data manipulation tools such as Excel and Power Query, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection & Acquisition
* Collect and compile data from multiple sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external data providers
* Ensure data accuracy and integrity through data cleansing and validation processes
Data Processing & Transformation
* Assist in developing and maintaining data preprocessing pipelines
* Use Excel, Power Query, and other tools for data integration and data wrangling
Data Analysis
* Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
* Support the development of statistical models to extract insights
* Respond to programme-related data queries and integrate findings into wider analysis
Data Interpretation
* Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support their data requirements
Reporting & Presentation
* Prepare and present reports and insights for stakeholders
* Assist in developing automated reporting solutions using Excel and other tools
Data Management
* Maintain and update databases, ensuring accuracy and data security
* Support the implementation of data governance best practices
Continuous Improvement
* Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices
