This is a field‑based role covering London and the South of England. It is a fixed‑term contract for 18 months.
Role Purpose
You will be responsible for delivering the People Strategy in your regions and supporting the Regional teams in their delivery of the Retail strategy. The People Business Partner will represent the People Function in driving and implementing people projects, coaching the RGM and Area Managers across your regions.
A Typical Day In This Role Includes
* Work with and coach stakeholders across regions and the wider People team to produce a Regional people plan incorporating the pillars of the People strategy, including Diversity & Inclusion, with clear ownership and accountability.
* Raise capability across Regional teams through a consistent People Review and succession plan.
* Proactively support the employee journey – induction, development, performance, and learning.
* Support overall engagement initiatives in reward, recognition, and wellbeing, including the Company Engagement survey and social media.
* Act as an ambassador for our diversity and inclusion networks.
* Work in conjunction with Area Managers, RGM and the People Advice team to handle all absence, disciplinary, grievance and general ER cases; support high‑profile cases and be accountable for ER trends.
* Keep up to date with current employment legislation and brief the Regional team, line managers, and staff on relevant ER and policy changes.
* Collaborate with the talent team to ensure vacancies are filled following the correct recruitment processes.
* Review and improve recruitment and selection processes for Store Management & Store teams, aligned with budgeted headcount and payroll costs.
* Partner with the Reward team to implement Pay Review & bonus within agreed policies and timelines.
* Lead and support key people projects that underpin the overall People strategy.
* Interpret data, identify solutions, and present findings to key colleagues, securing buy‑in for plans.
* Explore how systems and technology can support the People strategy and drive efficiencies.

What You’ll Need
* Experience as an HR Generalist with multi‑location experience.
* Level 5 CIPD or above.
* Strong digital and organisational skills.
* Resilience, a clear understanding of processes, and the ability to simplify problems and provide solutions.
