Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated speech and language therapist to help us support children and young people in a range of settings across North Essex. This Band 7 role involves coordinating, supporting and delivering a high quality, evidence based service in the clinical fields of complex needs and AAC. The post is being offered on a 12 month fixed contract to cover maternity leave.
Responsibilities
* To lead on service delivery in designated settings
* To hold a highly specialist clinical caseload within schools
* To supervise and line manage therapists and assistants
* To contribute to the planning and service delivery of the Therapies service
* To work as part of the Speech and Language Therapy team, as well as the wider multidisciplinary SEND Therapies team
