Duration: Long-Term Contract Rate: Competitive (DOE) Overview: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Civils Operative / Supervisor for a site near Peterhead. This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role split 50/50 between office-based planning and site-based practical work. The successful candidate will take responsibility for organising civil works, overseeing contractors, raising permits, and carrying out infrastructure maintenance across the site. Key Responsibilities * Organise, raise permits and oversee contractors for resurfacing works * Organise and supervise concrete works, slab laying and paving works * Oversee and advise on CDM projects, deep excavations, repairs and remedial works * Forward plan and coordinate proposed works * Liaise with vendors and contractors for GPR surveys and civil engineering tasks * Produce permits for civil teams and vendors working across departments * Review and advise on Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) * Scope and plan infrastructure repairs (storm damage, roof leaks etc.) * Source and request materials for repairs * Raise and execute Work Orders * Maintain accurate records and documentation * React to observation cards submitted by workforce * Provide instruction to workforce and ensure safe working practices * Mentor vendors and contractors on site safety compliance * Standby man & fire watcher duties * General labouring tasks & assembly work Requirements * Strong all-round knowledge of civil and infrastructure maintenance * Experience supervising contractors and managing permits * Understanding of CDM regulations * Ability to read and review RAMS documentation * Basic computer skills * Strong organisational skills and forward planning ability * Comfortable working both in office and hands-on on site To apply, please email your fully up-to-date CV or call (phone number removed).
