About IRARA
IRARA delivers International Return and Reintegration Assistance programmes across multiple regions. We are seeking a dedicated and organised Case Manager to join our Global Operations Centre (GOC) team in Sheffield. This role is central to managing reintegration casework, coordinating service delivery, and ensuring compliance with programme standards.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Programmes Manager, the Case Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of reintegration support for returnees. This includes accepting new referrals, developing Reintegration Plans (RPs), coordinating with third-country service providers, verifying documentation, and supporting monitoring and evaluation activities.
Key Responsibilities
Case Management & Coordination
 * Facilitate the reintegration process from referral to completion, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
 * Liaise with third-country delivery organisations (TCOs) to arrange airport meet‑and‑greet services.
 * Develop and submit reintegration plans within agreed timeframes.
 * Upload accurate proof of payments and supporting documentation.
 * Maintain regular contact with returnees to avoid disengagement.
 * Submit reintegration activity reports to IRARA Head Office.
 * Ensure post‑arrival cash assistance is delivered within the required timeframe, with valid supporting evidence.
 * Monitor case progress, prioritise expiring or delayed cases, and escalation where necessary.
 * Maintain high standards of client satisfaction and manage complaints appropriately.
 * Submit a weekly summary report every Friday highlighting key activities and issues.
Evidence Verification & Case Support
 * Ensure all financial and documentary evidence meets programme standards before case closure.
 * Verify supporting documents for all types of assistance (cash, bank transfer, in‑kind).
 * Resolve discrepancies and ensure transparency and accuracy in all records.
 * Prioritise cases requiring additional evidence, focusing on critical items first.
 * Submit reports to the Programme Manager case status and progression.
 * Maintain accurate records of all cases, recording completion status and follow‑up actions.
Documentation Standards
 * Ensure evidence for support delivery is complete and compliant.
 * Cash Payments: Confirmation of bank details and payment receipts.
 * Bounce‑back Payments: Initial payment evidence, bounce‑back confirmation, signed error explanation, and corrected payment records.
 * In‑Kind Support: Vendor quotes/invoices, payment confirmation, receipts, and client acknowledgement of support received.
Qualifications
 * Experience in case management, social work, or programme delivery.
 * Strong organisational and communication skills.
 * Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across international contexts.
 * Familiarity with financial documentation and reporting.
 * Proficiency in digital case management tools.
 * Language skills in Italian, French, Portuguese.
 * Knowledge of immigration and/or reintegration programmes or international development.
 * Experience working with vulnerable populations.
