The post holder will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation and planning of IT infrastructure across the school site, while providing hands-on IT support to staff and students across the school.
The role's responsibilities
* Organize all ICT resources
* Maintain staff laptops / desktop computers
* Manage connectivity across all Buckswood sites
* Organize resources and allocate equipment as required
* Ensure backup procedures are in place for systems
* Troubleshoot issues arising with any ICT equipment including telephone systems and CCTV
* Maintain antivirus solution across the campus
Skills and qualifications
* Proven work experience in IT support or IT technician roles
* Associate degree or advanced apprenticeship in Computer Science or relevant disciplines ( desirable)
* In-depth knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
* Practical experience with internet and network security protocols
* Problem-solving skills
* Technical documentation skills
* Organizational and interpersonal skills
* Ideally experience of upgrading a school IT System
* Ideally experience of working in a school/education environment
Hours: Monday- Friday, 37.5 hrs per week., Start date: 1st September 2025
