Job Description
Events Coordinator
A mid-level events coordinator responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing corporate events including hospitality experiences, trade shows, exhibitions, and internal parties. The role is part-time (three days per week, 9:00-15:00), with flexibility required for event attendance, which may involve evenings, weekends, and occasional travel within the UK and abroad.
Reports to: Marketing Director
Works closely with: Marketing, Sales, and external vendors
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of corporate events (hospitality, trade shows, exhibitions, client functions, internal celebrations).
* Liaise with venues, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth event logistics.
* Coordinate travel, accommodation, and on-site support for events.
* Oversee event set-up, execution, and breakdown, ensuring a professional and seamless experience.
* Manage event budgets, track expenses, and provide post-event reports.
* Support marketing campaigns by ensuring event branding, collateral, and materials are on point.
* Maintain the events calendar and ensure deadlines are met.
* Act as on-the-ground point of contact during events, including international or out-of-hours commitments.
Required Skills & Experience
* 3+ years' experience in corporate events coordination or management.
* Strong organisational and project management skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
* Flexibility to travel and work outside typical hours when required.
* Budget management and vendor negotiation experience.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic event/project management tools.
