Our client is a prominent provider of high-quality commercial interior fit-outs, specialising in exceptional partitions, carpentry and ceiling suspended ceiling services.
On behalf of our client, we are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join their team and play a crucial role in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
Quantity Surveyor
Package:
* £55,000 - £65,000
* 20 days holiday + BH
* Company pension scheme
Quantity Surveyor
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain accurate project estimates, budgets, and forecasts.
* Conduct cost analysis, feasibility studies, and value engineering assessments.
* Identify and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
* Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring risks are minimized and value maximized.
* Track project costs and progress to ensure alignment with financial plans.
* Prepare interim valuations, cost reports, and final accounts.
* Coordinate with project managers, designers, and other team members.
* Maintain effective communication with clients to meet their expectations.
* Ensure adherence to industry standards, company policies, and legal frameworks.
* Proactively identify risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Quantity Surveyor
Key Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
* Proven experience in quantity surveying, ideally in commercial interiors or construction.
* Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulations.
* Proficiency in cost management software
* Proficiency in excel is essential
