Your new role
This is a new Accounts Administrator job working as part of a wider accounts team of 10 people. You will be joining the team working on their bespoke accounts system and picking up general accounts admin duties. These duties will be varied and include but not limited to:
• Support suppliers, customers, and third-party vendors
• Involved with the process of bank deposits
• Prepare, send, and store invoices
• Identify and address discrepancies
• Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable
• Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
• Dealing with customer and supplier requests for PODs
• Liaising with other departments and depots
• Providing support for purchase ledger and sales ledger
• Providing back up for holiday cover within the team
• Any other administrative or accounts procedures as required
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will need:
• Good organisational skills
• Good/confident telephone manner
•puter skills and knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel required, but training will be given
• Goodmunications skills, both oral and written
• • Ability to work within a small team, under pressure and at speed
• Ability to follow instructions, multitask and prioritise workloads
• Accuracy is essential and either sales or purchase ledger exposure would be advantageous
