We are offering a newly-created Finance Manager position with a growing and acquisitive Cheltenham-based service provider. This role provides an opportunity to manage a small team, oversee daily financial activities, ensure process robustness, and take ownership of month and year-end procedures.
This position will appeal to individuals who enjoy process improvement, people management, development, and working in a dynamic, high-change environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage month-end reporting and prepare balance sheet reconciliations
* Prepare statutory accounts
* Lead the annual audit process for all entities
* Oversee financial operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and banking activities
* Develop and review KPIs
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency
* Lead and develop a small team
Candidate Profile
* Qualified accountant with leadership and coaching experience
* Proven experience in producing management and statutory accounts
* Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
* Proficiency in Excel
* Knowledge of systems that improve operational efficiencies
