Role Overview: As a Hygiene Operative, you will play a key part in ensuring that the factory is cleaned thoroughly and safely, meeting all required food hygiene and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: • Carrying out deep cleaning of production and processing areas • Ensuring all surfaces, equipment, and machinery are cleaned to food industry hygiene standards • Working with cleaning chemicals and tools appropriately and safely • Following strict health & safety and food safety procedures • Completing tasks within set timeframes and shift schedules • Keeping accurate records as required Who We're Looking For: • Experience in a hygiene or food production environment is preferred but not essential (training provided) • Candidates with manual work experience in other industries are welcome • Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality • Physically capable due to the manual nature of the work • Flexible and able to adapt to shift changes based on business needs • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Benefits: • Dayshift salary starting at £12.71 per hour and nightshift paid at £14.46 inclusive of night shift allowance • Overtime paid at x1.5 • 30 days holiday (after 12 weeks if agency) • Weekly pay via agency or monthly if working directly • On-site agency support • Free parking and on-site parking • Supportive training and career progression opportunities • Opportunity to secure permanent employment with a growing and reputable employer Shift Patterns Available: Dayshift Shift Time: 06:00 – 18:30 Pattern: 2-2-3 Rotation Example: Week 1: Mon–Tue ON, Wed–Thu OFF, Fri–Sat–Sun ON Week 2: Mon–Tue OFF, Wed–Thu ON, Fri–Sat–Sun OFF Nightshift Shift Time: 18:00 – 06:30 Pattern: 2-2-3 Rotation Example: Week 1: Mon–Tue ON, Wed–Thu OFF, Fri–Sat–Sun ON Week 2: Mon–Tue OFF, Wed–Thu ON, Fri–Sat–Sun OFF
