Manufacturing Engineer – Leeds, UK
Permanent role with salary £33,000 - £36,000 per annum (DOE).
Working hours: Monday - Friday (Day Shift).
28 days holiday, including bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing products and processes from concept to production.
* Using SolidWorks to create production‑ready designs and drawings.
* Designing jigs, fixtures, and assembly solutions.
* Supporting CNC routing, machining, welding and fabrication processes.
* Creating BOMs and SOPs for manufacturing.
* Driving Lean / 6S improvements and reducing waste.
* Supporting prototypes, problem‑solving and process optimisation.
Key Requirements
* ONC / HNC (or equivalent experience in engineering/manufacturing).
* Strong experience in a production or engineering environment.
* Ability to read technical drawings and create clear manufacturing instructions.
* Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
* A background in fabrication, machining, or CNC processes.
* Any electrical engineering knowledge (desirable but not essential).
