Role: Electrical Production Engineer

Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum (DOE)

About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and detail-focused Electrical Production Engineer to join a busy manufacturing and production team. This is a hands-on role focused on the electrical assembly, wiring, calibration, verification, and final production stages of specialist machinery.
You will take ownership of electrical build quality, fault diagnosis, and final commissioning processes, ensuring all equipment meets required technical, quality, and compliance standards.
The role may also offer opportunities for international travel for on-site commissioning, repairs, and technical support across Europe, Asia, and North America. Full training will be provided on internal systems, procedures, calibration, and verification processes.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical preparation and wiring of machinery and chassis to technical drawings
Electrical assembly to defined production deadlines
Fault-finding and rectification on prototype, production, and customer equipment
Calibration and verification of machinery to documented procedures
Accurate digital capture and recording of calibration and test data
Generation of work orders and production documentation
Coordination of freight, shipments, and logistics documentation
Supporting commissioning and on-site technical support activitiesEssential Skills & Experience
Electrical engineering / panel wiring / production wiring experience
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Proactive, tenacious, and solutions-focused mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confident user of IT systems including Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Full UK driving licenceDesirable
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
PLC programming experience
Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or test equipment environmentsBenefits
