Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and confident Band 7 (or Band 8A) Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Hand Therapist to join the Plastics & Trauma Hand Therapy service. You will be working closely with the surgical and rehab teams to deliver high-quality assessment and rehabilitation for hand injuries resulting from trauma or plastic surgery cases. Key Responsibilities Independently assess, diagnose, and manage patients with complex hand trauma and post-surgical needs Deliver evidence-based hand therapy treatments, including splinting, scar management, and functional rehabilitation Collaborate effectively within the multidisciplinary Plastics and Hand Therapy teams Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation Support discharge planning and contribute to service development initiatives Key Requirements HCPC registered Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist Significant experience in Hand Therapy, ideally within trauma and plastics Prior NHS experience at Band 7 or above (Band 8A applicants welcome) Advanced clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills Confident working independently and within a multidisciplinary setting Additional Information Accommodation may be available on request Full or part-time applicants welcome Immediate start available for a short-term contract How to Apply Please send your updated CV to or contact us on 0333 121 20 10, quoting reference AA/17501/OTB7;8A
