YOUR ROLE
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Show calling during performances and rehearsals - noting any problems and inconsistencies during the performance Deputy of the "Production Stage Manager Creation and support with rehearsal plans / sign-in plans / setting up the rehearsal studio / revising the "StageBook", etc. Ensuring rehearsals and performance run smoothly and providing appropriate support to cast and creatives Daily documentation of the rehearsal/show routine - including closures, entrances and exits, notes and costume changes. Create, manage, and track audience reactions and actor actions "on and off stage" -to effectively communicate this information to the creative team and technical departments Collaborate with all other departments, including the technical team, to ensure the performance runs smoothly Work closely with the "Production Stage Manager" to plan and coordinate rehearsals and ensure the weekly schedule is sent out in a timely manner Support and participation in various planning - rehearsals, technical rehearsals, dress rehearsals and understudy rehearsals Ensuring that work materials and all necessary documents from the "Stage Management" area are stored neatly and securely Ensure department security and administrative procedures are properly implemented Adhere to health and safety guidelines
YOUR SKILLS
minimum age 21 years Experience as a „Show caller" / "Assistant Stage Manager"(m/f/x) experience in musicals, theater and/or touring good general understanding of technical aspects ability to lead a team and deputize the "Production Stage Manager" when necessary high resilience team player proactive approach to work problem solving ability and ability to work under pressure very good communication skills (German / English)
