You will work for a leading public sector organisation based at their Finance Department in Omagh. This is a temporary position with an immediate start.
Your new role
You will work as a member of the Finance team, assisting in the delivery of efficient and high-quality financial services. To assist in the provision of efficient and effective financial services in relation to one of the following functions:-
Financial Assessment
To assist in the facilitation of an efficient and effective financial assessment, collection and payment service for service users.
Direct Payments/Self-Directed Support
To assist in the management of the Direct Payments system, including setting up payment schedules, monitoring, maintaining and liaising with users and staff in relation to Direct Payments.
Retained Finance
To assist in the delivery of a range of financial support services in relation to ie, payments and payroll.
What you'll need to succeed
Basic accounting/finance/admin/clerical knowledge
Knowledge of working with spreadsheets and MS applications
Effectivemunication skills
Ability to work effectively as a team and independently
Ability to prioritise work to achieve set deadlines
Ability to work accurately and maintain confidentiality
5 GCSEs (Grade A-C) including English Language and Mathematics / Accounts AND 1 year's finance, admin & clerical experience
OR 3 years' finance, admin & clerical experience
What you'll get in return
You will work for a public sector organisation on a temporary ongoing basis, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. You will be offered a Band 3 salary and paid weekly. Full training will be provided.
