An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Home Manager to lead our team with passion and excellence. Located in Sandiway, near Northwich, Redwalls is a grade II listed Edwardian home offering nursing and residential care for up to forty-two residents, holding a 'GOOD' rating from the CQC.
We are seeking a Home Manager with a proven track record in delivering high-quality care, strong business acumen, and marketing skills. In this role, you'll have the autonomy to guide our home towards an Outstanding CQC rating while leading our dedicated team.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead this prestigious care home.( Removed wording new build) Due to personal circumstances, our appointed manager cannot continue, creating an opportunity for a dedicated leader to take charge.
As Care Home Manager, you will ensure the home delivers high-quality care and support to residents, meets financial targets, and maintains full occupancy. You will be a strong leadership team player, demonstrating leading qualities to support and motivate the staff. CQC registration and knowledge of all relevant legislation and regulations are essential.
You’ll have full support from our Operations and Central teams, alongside an in-house supernumerary Deputy Manager, Administrator, Hospitality, Activities and Housekeeping teams to help maintain smooth operations and excellence in care. Additional support includes a Regional Marketing Manager, Hospitality Manager, Asset Manager and Regional Trainer.

Key duties and responsibilities
1. Provide leadership and direction to the home’s staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion and empathy.
2. Ensure that the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain excellent standards of care and support.
3. Manage the home’s budget, ensuring that financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed.
4. Develop and implement a well-thought-out marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home’s services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders.
5. Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns.
Skills and attributes
6. Previous experience of managing a nursing home.
7. A good working knowledge, with a proven record of CQC standards and can work towards achieving Outstanding.
8. Confident communicator with strong leadership credentials.
9. Commercially astute with an eye for occupancy and growth opportunities.
Education and qualification
10. NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience
