Job Title: Supply Teacher – Primary School
Location: Bournemouth and Christchurch
Pay: £110-£120 per day
Start Date: Immediate start possible
GSL Education is currently assisting with the recruitment of Supply Teachers for local primary schools in Bournemouth and Christchurch.
As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for providing essential support where schools need cover and additional support in the absence of their class teacher. This role offers flexibility where you can state your preferred working days and we can liaise this with the schools. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the classroom, coupled with the flexibility and diversity that comes with being a Supply Teacher.
The ideal candidate for the Supply Teacher position should be passionate to deliver quality education in place of the normal class teacher, a be able to follow lesson plans and school policies. This role will require you to be adaptable as you will be required to cover a variety of year groups within the primary school. Experience working across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 would be desirable. While the schools are currently seeking Supply Teachers on a flexible basis, this role serves as an excellent entry point for longer-term positions that may become available in the future.

Requirements:
• Hold relevant qualifications (QTS/ PGCE)
• Demonstrate confidence in managing classroom behaviour and adapting to different school policies.
• Be prepared to cover a range of subjects as required.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Possess an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
• Be registered for a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
