Position: Legal Counsel
Location: Cambridgeshire (hybrid working, 2 days/week office-based)
Salary guide: up to £65,000 FTE + Bonus + Benefits
Role Type: Permanent | Part-time (4 days per week)
We’re exclusively partnered with a purpose-led and highly respected organisation to appoint a Legal Counsel to join their established and collaborative in-house legal team.
The Opportunity
As part of a strong and supportive In-House Legal team, you will play a key role in advising on and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts spanning across construction, IT, energy, outsourcing, consultancy, and IP/R&D agreements. This role is varied and perfect for someone who enjoys hands on commercial legal work, thrives on collaboration, and delivers practical, business first advice.
The Work:
1. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts (NEC4, IT, energy, outsourcing, consultancy, and more)
2. Advising on contract risk, procurement issues, and regulatory compliance
3. Supporting business units with practical legal guidance on day-to-day matters
