An exciting opportunity in London is looking for a Director, Data Operations / BI, supporting a global data and reporting centre within a complex, multi‑market organisation.

The Job
As the Director, Data Operations / BI, your responsibilities will include:
* Owning the end‑to‑end delivery of enterprise‑level data and taxonomy solutions, powering internal reporting and decision‑making
* Acting as a senior member, defining and enforcing global data governance, taxonomy, and reporting standards
* Leading engagement with multiple global and local markets to drive adoption of standardised data frameworks
* Acting as the central bridge between global stakeholders and local delivery teams
* Driving taxonomy compliance, data quality, and scalable governance models across markets
* Developing playbooks, frameworks, and documentation to support consistent market onboarding and implementation
* Ensuring data structures align with downstream BI, reporting, and analytics use cases
* Translating business and reporting requirements into scalable, future‑proof data solutions
* Acting as the escalation point for critical data integrity, reporting, and delivery issues
You
* Proven experience leading data operations, taxonomy, or data governance in global, multi‑market environments
* Background working within large, complex organisations or enterprise‑scale accounts
* Confident stakeholder manager across senior global and local teams
* Strong understanding of how data structures enable BI, reporting, and analytics
* Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands‑on levels
* Experience with tools such as SQL/Python, Excel, APIs, work management platforms, and taxonomy tools
