About the Role
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming school in the B29 area of Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Early Years specialist who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning in line with the EYFS Framework.
The successful candidate will create a nurturing, engaging and stimulating classroom environment that supports children’s early development through play-based and structured learning activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
* Support children’s social, emotional and academic development
* Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
* Maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teachers and senior leadership
* Build positive relationships with parents and carers
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* relevant EYFS qualification/Experience is essential
* Experience teaching within EYFS
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* A caring, patient and adaptable approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
