We're really excited for our next retail expansion to come to the lovely market town of Morpeth Our first retail opening since 2022 our new shop on Newgate Street will be a lively, fast paced high street bakery just like our original at the top of Pink Lane.
We're looking for a part time front of house colleague who'll be the cheerful face of our brand new shop. You'll be an experienced food industry professional, having worked in a busy food service environment. Here, at our well known independent bakery you'll bring your hospitality energy to serving our carefully made artisan products. We're looking for someone who'll be really excited about our skillfully made sourdough, breakfast pastries, quality pies, sausage rolls and savouries and of course our full range of cakes and patisserie. There'll be some baking off on site and takeaway hot food production.
You'll be an experienced barista, able to keep our coffee quality consistent. Looking after your machine while making great coffees every time too.
We're looking for a knowledge of food hygiene, the issues that go along with this and a good awareness of allergens. You'll be hardworking a calm and methodical person able to maintain a really efficient, clean and well organised shop.
Your duties will include opening up the unit, closing it down and cashing up.
